Aqua Satter Release MRA is a chemical release agent suitable for mould and shutter faces prior to casting concrete in order to achieve a clean release. After release and after removal of the formwork, the resultant concrete has a smooth, hard, uniform finish with reduced incidence of blow holes. It can be applied to the formwork by spray in the form of a light uniform mist coating. Concentrated chemical mould release agent gives a high quality concrete finish economically and ensures a clean and quick release.
WHERE TO USE: Aqua Satter Release MRA is suitable for application on plywood, timber, steel and plastic faces of formwork and modules prior to casting concrete to achieve a clean and easy release.
HOW IT ACTS: Aqua Satter Release MRA reacts chemically with the cement in such a manner that the excellent release properties are imparted to the faces of treated moulds and shuttering. Concrete, cast with Aqua Satter Release MRA as the release agent, has a smooth, hard, uniform and light coloured finish. It does not affect the concrete in any deleterious manner. It may also be applied to rough sawn timber formwork when a grained effect is required. The adhesion of subsequent surface coating or renders is not affected by concrete treated with Aqua Satter Release MRA.
HOW TO USE: Light weight horticultural sprayers are ideal for Aqua Satter Release MRA as it is finely atomized to give a uniform, even coating. Excessive application should be avoided. Application may be made by a fine haired brush. COMPOSITION: Low viscosity hydrocarbon carrier blended with a chemically active release agent.
- It gives better release properties and reduces the incidence of blow holes in the concrete face.
- It is non-standing and can be used on work employing white cement.

- Aqua Satter Release MRA treated plywood and timber moulds are waterproofed, thereby preventing swelling and ensuring that there is no variation in the hydration of the cement. Steel modules are protected against rust and prolonged application will assist in the removal of existing rust.
- It may be applied to weatherproof moulds and shuttering. This application may be made some time before the moulds are required to use as the Aqua Satter Release MRA will still remain effective.
